Went to Mountain Creek Bike Park the other day with some friends. Here's a few fails followed by some big jump (for me) wins at the end.
No offense (we’ve all been there) but I think you’re probably stretching a bit vs. your skill level up to this point. There is nothing wrong with pushing yourself to progress, but progress comes from practicing and mastering skills such as cornering, drops, braking, avoiding obstacles, etc. on trails that are within your ability level. Don’t take on trails that are above your current ability level just because your friends are doing it. You won’t learn anything because all you’re doing just struggling the whole time.
You were lucky not to get hurt in those crashes, but eventually you’ll end up getting hurt. Again, we’ve all been there, so don’t take this the wrong way. Also I should mention your jumping skills look pretty darn good, I’m not sure I’d be doing those jumps as confidently as you.
Just look after yourself dude.
