World leaders head to French Riviera for UN summit on ocean 'emergency'

Some 50 heads of state and government gather in the French city of Nice from Sunday to confront what the United Nations has described as a global "emergency" in the oceans, hoping to find unity on issues such as plastic pollution, exploitative fishing and deep-sea mining to halt the decline of marine environments.
