Japan Times 1926: Premier Kato is dead; victim to influenza after short illness

Viscount Takaaki Kato, Premier of Japan and president of the Kenseikai, hero of many parliamentary battles, battled in vain for life, the Grim Reaper claiming him at eight-fifty this morning. Influenza, from which he suffered less than a week, was the cause of his death.
