Never posted here, but I'm kinda disturbed so here goes nothing... I live with two cats in a relatively big apartment, and since a few months ago I keep seeing them running past me or running down the hall way when they are soundly sleeping somewhere or eating their food in the kitchen. It doesn't happen very often, but it confuses the fuck out of me.

Just now I could've sworn one of them sneaked by me into the bedroom and I looked for him under and behind the bed, turned out he was still busy with his dinner and kinda annoyed that I came running around the kitchen corner like a mad woman while he was just trying to enjoy some food.

It's not that I see them clear as day sitting around and they vanish, it's more like a "running past me"... but it's distinctive enough to know which cat I've seen, so it's not just like a moving shadow or light.

I have issues with night terrors with hypnagogic hallucinations, but I have never had anything resembling a hallucination during the day.

Am I going crazy or did someone else experience something like this? I'm pretty sure that while my cats probably do have ninja abilities, they do not have the ability to teleport through closed doors or walls so somebody please tell me if I should get my brain looked at lmao
