Just read a report that wind turbine failure accounts for 13%. The rest is natural gas the antiquated transformers have frozen lines that are unable to process the natural gas mixture.

Just another example of giving the money to the shareholders instead of putting it back into maintaining infrastructure.

This is causing a drain on the electrical grid apparently they are projecting that power will not be restored until after the cold snap.

Which of course doesn't help the people of Texas. I tried to understand the structure of their regulatory commission but I didn't have a enough breadcrumbs to find my way back.

So I gave up, all I could see is that it's heavily privatized and dependent on markets very little government oversight.

My thoughts and hopes that things will get better for the people of Texas.
