Those characterizing Rush Limbaugh as a “conservative provocateur” is a perfectly accurate description, especially since Rush wore that moniker like a badge of honor.

What’s less fair is suggesting that cigar aficionado Rush Limbaugh had lung cancer coming to him or the left claiming that he deserved to die a horrible death for him being an all-around misogynist, racist, repugnant human being.

Rush Limbaugh Succumbs To Cancer

As many of you are aware Rush Limbaugh, the longtime influential conservative radio host died Wednesday at the age of 70 after his year-long battle with cancer.

Limbaugh who is survived by his wife Kathryn, announced last February that he was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.

Kathryn made the surprise noon announcement of her husband’s death on his radio show.

“I know that I am most certainly not the Limbaugh that you tuned in to listen to today. I, like you, very much wish Rush was behind this golden microphone right now, welcoming you to another exceptional three hours of broadcasting.

For over 32 years, Rush has cherished you, loyal audience, and always looked forward to every single show. It is with profound sadness I must share with you directly that our beloved Rush, my wonderful husband, passed away this morning due to complications from lung cancer.”
