Climate change, rising sea levels to increase cost of flood damage by $34 billion in coming decades: Report

Avoidable
Is it? At various times in history with comparative co2 levels the oceans have been depending on all the variables, 60-120 feet higher. There is a correlation between co2 levels, temps and SLR, 360 feet from full ice age to hot house earth. How is building lots of cars going to undo what we have done, over 90 % of which has been absorbed by the oceans. Carbon capture? Leaving aside the problems with performing that at scale, it generally relates to future emissions not dragging all our historic emissions from the oceans. Our coastal cities will be gone.
