There are so many things about Captain American which make this character instantly a favorite. People have been falling in love with the image of this character’s personality since its official debut in March 1941. One of the oldest comic characters from Marvel (like Spider-Man and Iron man), Captain America has always been everyone’s favorite since the day it’s introduced and still is an important and beloved character in the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It was launched right at the brink of WWII, making it a perfect character for the people because the red, white, and blue pattern of Captain America Jacket/costume had the required patriotism necessary for those dark times. The Marvel character has been fulfilling that purpose. It was initially introduced just because of its patriotic characteristics and became the American Superhero.

There are so many admirable characters in the MCU, but there’s something about Cap to fall in love with. It is quite easy and simple. This superhuman has the powers that many only can dream for; plus, that the starring actor, Cris Evans, is handsome and has a masculine personality. What else you want from the MCU, Marvel Fans?

His personality, simple background, what it took for him to become what he’s today, what he has gone through, and even how he became not just a superhero but a leader. Before his superhero life, he was just a skinny young man who wanted to join the War but got rejected several times, considered not fit to fight in War. He is the most stubborn, but not in a bad way. One great thing we saw in the comic and movie both that he always has fought for the ones who can not fight for themselves even though while doing so, it always has ended up in the same way, beaten down again and again.

Strength isn’t the only asset he has, but he might be the best tactician in Marvel. He has led the team against some of the most feared villains that Marvel has put on the table, and they have beaten down every single one of them without having any casualties. On several occasions, he knew this way he would risk his team member but, with the help of his great leadership and strategy skills, he always minimizes the risk and manages to beat the hell out of the one who’s a potential threat to mankind or his team members. This showcases the loyalty in the team that they know if the Cap is putting it that way, it might be something that we can’t see. one thing that Captain has never hesitated in doing so is to bend his own rules, if there’s a situation and can’t see another way of doing so he doesn’t take a second and just do it.

Another great thing about Captain America whenever he’s planning on something to beat the potential threat, he always asks the whole team if they have a better option or plan to proceed with because he has always been truthful about the plane and the chances of their outcomes of any fight. If any of the team members have a better one, he always lets them speak and back-offs to let them lead their plan. This element of leadership is very rare to find, and there have been very few leaders that have this quality in them, and our Captain has it all.

There were so many times where a man had to stay behind, but he always sticks beside him/her and never left them for even a second. Having a soldier’s core, he has always been there when anyone would need his assistance or help. This is one of the reasons why even an average viewer of MCU loves the personality, simplicity, and leadership of Captain American.

It isn’t entirely true that he was the only one of a kind; a fun fact, he wasn’t even the first one. Red Skull was the first-ever superhuman to be given the serum that converted Steve Rogers into Captain America. But regardless of the muscular boost he got physically, personality-wise he was still the humble yet hardworking Steve that he was known to be. The serum, which was made by Dr. Abraham Erskine, was given to Red Skull. Steve Rogers was given the experimented enhanced serum, which has kept him safe from all the side effects as we saw with Red Skull. Well, he wasn’t the first one to have the serum, but he was the one to put on the ever praised Captain America Leather Jacket.

If Dr. Erskine wasn’t killed in the movie, he would have made a number of super-soldiers. Chances are our beloved Captain wouldn’t be the only one and would have lost the love of such a fanbase as there would be many super soldiers to look up to.

Whether we talk about the MCU or Marvel Comics, Captain America occupies a unique place in both. Among so many characters, Cap is the man who everyone looks up to. Now that’s some serious pressure on any one’s shoulder but don’t ever underestimate our Captain, he has beaten down Tony (while the suits were on, obviously) in Civil War, and have you forget the uppercut to Thanos, not just that he has the man-power, but he also has a great taste in fashion, one attire caught the eyes of every fashion lover and even the comic nerds, Winter Soldier Captain American Jacket. Honesty, loyalty, inspirational persona, the one who everyone looks up to, and great taste in fashion are all the standard golden things that have made the captain the ever-perfect leader of The Avengers.
