I think for me, what was critical was to understand and to convey Elliot's message, which I think he embodies. And I mean, it's in earnest, you know, this is not a man who says [things he doesn’t mean], there's not a word that he doesn't consider. I've never met anyone like him. I mean, I think he's the definition of humility and I found that really compelling, really fascinating, so I wanted to honor that. It's interesting, because a lot of the time athletes, or any public figures, performers, like to talk, like to perform, you know, they're big personalities often. And he's not. He's very reserved and he's very quiet, and he conserves energy. I'm convinced it's because he's trying to conserve energy. But I wanted to make sure that we weren't, as filmmakers, dishonoring him. I wanted to honor his objective and his beliefs. And that wasn't a challenge, but it was something that you wanted the film to contain, because it goes beyond. I don't think it's just about sports and athleticism, I think it's about humankind.
