First, we searched the internet using relevant keywords to check if any such creature had been spotted recently but found no credible reports. However, upon closer inspection of the video, we noticed several anomalies, such as a hand with six fingers and unnatural movements of the people in the background, which are clear signs of AI-generated or manipulated visuals.

Next, we conducted a reverse image search of the viral video and found that the original video (archive) was uploaded on the Instagram page ‘oleg.pars’ on 7 March 2025. The post explicitly mentions that the video was created using AI and design tools like Flux, Kling, Eleven Labs, and After Effects.

The page bio describes it as belonging to a digital creator in constant search of “unbelievable creatures." The account also features other AI-generated visuals of strange creatures, such as a glowing scorpion and a lotus-shaped spider. Moreover, AI video detectors also identified the viral video as AI-generated.
