Two persons were arrested for allegedly taking over ₹1 crore from several persons on the false promise of arranging visas for them to Australia, the police said on Thursday(March 27, 2025)

Thomas N. Isaac, 51, and Pradeep Kumar, 42, were arrested following a complaint by a Kothamangalam native, according to the police.

There are similar cases against them at Kaliyar and Thodupuzha stations, the police said and added that the probe into the case was supervised by District Police Chief Vaibhav Saxena.
