In a security breach, a drone was flown over the Tirumala temple on Tuesday.

According to reports, Anshuman Thareja, a YouTuber hailing from Rajasthan, operated the drone for around ten minutes, allegedly recording the temple and its surroundings.

The police have taken Thareja into custody and launched an investigation. The devotee’s antecedents are yet to be made public and authorities are working to determine the motive behind the act.
