I’m assuming some mitigation and restoration will be required. Some fines, etc. some ecological assessments will occur and monitoring may occur. Hard to know without being involved in the regulatory chatter. I had a project similar to this where they had to literally remove 32 inches of stream bottom to get the contaminants out and it required a number of fish, invert, and mussel monitoring surveys. I don’t work in this state so this is all speculation, but I’ve seen a few of these acute events.
