Much of the coverage of Pope Francis was too politicized or simplistic, missing the spiritual challenge and pastoral care he offered the world.
This is some of the tenor of a discussion I have with Grazie Christie about the life and papacy of Pope Francis, who died Easter Monday morning at the Vatican.
Christie is a radiologist in Miami who writes and speaks frequently on Catholic matters. (She also lives and volunteers Catholicism — including as a wife and mother, teacher, and pregnancy-clinic worker.)
