La poésie du jeune Acadien Félix Perkins
Jean-Paul Daoust lit des extraits du premier recueil de Félix Perkins, Boiteur des bois. « C'est un auteur que je découvre. C'est un Franco-Autochtone », dit-il sur ce poète de moins de 20 ans qui a déjà un deuxième recueil en route. Le titre de son premier livre est « un clin d'œil à "coureur des bois" », indique Jean-Paul Daoust, qui souligne l'importance des Édition Perce-Neige, fondées à Moncton par Gérald Leblanc. « J'aime la poésie acadienne. Elle nous amène sur des pistes intéressantes », affirme notre poète en résidence.
Résumé du recueil :
Boiteur des bois est une quête. Une quête de soi. Une quête identitaire presque aussi dévastatrice que révélatrice. Le jeune poète nous entraîne avec lui, comme le coureur des bois, à la rencontre de ses doutes, de ses questionnements et de ses démons. Il nous invite à le suivre à travers les grands arbres, les rivières et les blessures. Un partage qui ne laissera personne indemne. Heureusement.
