What is this…? I support my wife in her beliefs, which are way more spiritual than I’m familiar with but I support her and am willing to learn as much as I can. But this item makes me uncomfortable. I cannot explain why without sounding absurd but here goes : At times, I wake up and see that my wife isn’t in bed with me. I usually find her in the back room, in her altar. She’s been waking up from her sleep suddenly at about 3:30am and I often find her talking to this statue. She doesn’t just talk to it, she lights candles around it to talk to it, and I feel…heavy…whenever I’m near it.
I can’t describe the feeling. I don’t know how to talk to her about it without her feeling like I’m not in support.. can someone please just help me understand what this is? And why she’s talking to it?
