Should Trump offer to testify under oath at his impeachment trial?
If you believe different, source it.
Trump spread the lie that he won the election and that basically the entire country - The Supreme Court, state legislatures (including Republican and Democratic-controlled), and even his Vice President - all conspired against him.

Trump then told his supporters to protest on the day where the electoral votes were supposed to be certified.

The protestors, who were there because Trump told them to be, began to enter and trash the Capitol, attack policemen, and call for the deaths of lawmakers.

While all this was going on, President Trump refused to take any phone calls or call in the National Guard. Aids said that he was unreachable for most of the day, as he was glued to the TV watching the riot take place.

After sitting back and watching the riot, President Trump finally addressed it on Twitter. In his tweet, he tweeted:
"These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!"
Afterwards, Trump made a short video. While he did denounce the violence, he told the people who were committing the violence "we love you, and you're very special."
In both the statements listed above, while Trump didn't openly support the riots, he implied that we deserved them because of the stolen election.
To recap:
The riots stemmed from a protest about a stolen election, which was alleged by Trump, without evidence.
While the riots were taking place, Trump was slow to act, because he didn't want to alienate his supporters.
When it was finally clear that he had to act, Trump spent a portion of his addressal perpetuating the lie that the election was stolen, the allegation which caused the riots in the first place, and also sympathizing with and praising the rioters.
Is that all good enough for you, or do you need more evidence?
What do you make of Trump's statements and refusal to act quickly?
