Is a faux pas to ride a demo without *really* wanting to buy it?

Family and I are traveling for Christmas and the area I'm going to doesn't have a place to rent a bike, only demos. I found a sweet bike shop that will let me demo for $125 per day, which I thought was pretty reasonable, considering the list of bikes they have. I feel bad because I'm not really shopping for a bike, I just want to use it for the day.
Am I being an ahole for this or is it cool? Do shops not care since they'll get my money? I'm also planning on purchasing something from them and grabbing food and beer there as well.
