She came to work

I have shared this once before on Instagram a while ago but no where else. I have had several different types of paranormal, psychic, unexplained phenomena happen to me since the age of 1. Which to my mother’s amazement I have retained memories of with extreme clarity.
I usually keep things to myself because the feeling of having to “prove” how I know things or what I saw drains me. But I will share this here anyway.
I used to work in Philadelphia’s City Hall. I did so for 9.5 years. The building itself is built like a square donut. Each side of the building is a city block long and connected through “bridges” that overlook the court yard on the inner walls and the streets below on the outer sides. Each corner of the building has elevator banks at the end of the LOOOOONG halls. To the left of all elevator banks are doors that lead to marble stairs cases. There are 100 offices and court rooms behind solid wood doors that line each floor.
Objectively from an architectural standpoint it’s a marvel. From a energetic standpoint it can get creepy pretty quick because despite the building being fully occupied 75% of the time, you feel utterly alone walking down the halls. (Due to not being able to see or hear anything going on behind the wooden doors)
Anyway now that I have described it as best as possible, on this particular day I had to go from room 296 to 234. It was on the same floor but down and around two corners. On my way out of 234 I walked slowly my mind wandering as I made the trek back to 296 glancing down at the paper work in my hand. When I looked back up halfway down the halls at the elevator bank I saw a coworker named Georgette. We didn’t have any real rapport she worked in a different office but on the same floor so I knew her.
I smiled and said hey, wondering to myself why she was so dressed up for work. I mean she had her best of best on. So anyway I said “Hey” and she smiled and waved at me waiting at the elevator. I kept walking finally turning the corner and going back to my office thinking nothing else of it.
The next day a group of my coworkers were murmuring at the copier in our office and I asked what they were looking so serious about. One coworker turned and said “Did you hear about Georgette?” I looked at her confused, I had saw her yesterday dressed nice and smiling leaving the building on the elevator. I said “No, what about her?” They said “Her daughter called, she died in her sleep the front office just told us” I was shocked and said “Oh wow! I just saw her yesterday she looked fine” now all my coworkers at the copier turned to look at me strange. The one who told me she died said “No, you couldn’t have she died two days ago. But her daughter just called today” I just nodded and went back to my desk. But I KNOW I saw her the day before when according to her daughter she had been gone at that point for a whole day.
*Additional City Hall info, people died in the construction and there have also been accidental deaths and suicides in the building since. The energy is so chaotic in certain places.
